ANNUAL FUND

The Annual Fund is God-Wins Sports Academy,(GSA) most critical ongoing fundraising effort. Unrestricted gifts help our organization meet annual expenses such as faculty salaries, new programs, upgrades in technology and financial aid. Annual Fund gifts are used during our program year in which they are received and may be made in honor or memory of a team mate, coach, mentor, or family member. A gift may be pledged to be paid over a period of time before the June 30 deadline each year.

MATCHING GIFTS

​

Many companies have matching gift programs that support various nonprofit organizations, including GSA. The company for which you or your spouse works may match any cash or stock gift you make – sometimes on a dollar-for-dollar basis or more.

PLANNED GIVING

​

Planned or deferred gifts are another way to make a gift to GSA while meeting the long-term needs of your estate planning. Such contributions may include gifts of cash, securities, tangible property, real estate or life insurance. Gifts may be made through bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts or charitable lead trusts. Donors who have included GSA in their estate plans are recognized through membership in the Endowment Society.

GIFTS OF SECURITIES

Alternative non-cash contributions such as appreciated assets, stocks or real estate are one way to support GSA.

ENDOWMENT

​

The endowment can be compared to a savings account. The financial assets generate income through wise investment of the principal. Priority is placed on long-term growth of the endowment to satisfy future needs of our program. Income earned from the endowment is used to support our program's operating expenses and to provide financial assistance opportunities for students.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS

​

Capital campaigns are periodic initiatives that support projects not generally funded by the yearly operating budget. The object of most capital fundraising is building the endowment or the construction or renovation of buildings.
